Copernicus, which includes CoperniCare, attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this Privacy Policy we want to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data.

  • Last name;
  • Gender;

Personal data is stored by Copernicus for the above processing(s) for the period:

During the period of registration.

You can change your details at any time or unsubscribe from the newsletter by using the link at the bottom of each newsletter.

 

Processing of personal data of prospect and/or interested party

Personal data of prospect and/or interested party are processed by Copernicus for the following purpose:

  • Provision of information in the form of newsletters and/or targeted contacts.

The basis for this personal data is:

  • Contact request via the website, verbal consent, issuing a business card and/or via link on LinkedIn;

For the above purpose, Copernicus may request the following personal data from you:

  • Company Name;
  • Initial(s);
  • Last name;
  • Gender;
  • E-mail address;

This information enables us to fulfill your information request.

 

Processing business data

We use the Leadinfo service from Rotterdam to measure the business use of our website. This service shows us company names and addresses based on the IP addresses of our visitors. The IP address is not included here.

Retention period

Copernicus does not store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or required by law.

 

Security

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing, for example we have taken the following measures;

  • All persons who can take cognizance of your data on behalf of Copernicus are bound by confidentiality.
  • We have a username and password policy on all our systems;
  • We pseudonymise and ensure the encryption of personal data if there is reason to do so;
  • We make backup copies of the personal data in order to be able to restore it in the event of physical or technical incidents;
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • Our employees are informed about the importance of the protection of personal data.

 

Rights regarding your data

You have the right to inspect, rectify or delete the personal data we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to have the data provided by you transferred by us to yourself or directly to another party on your instructions. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask you to contact us immediately. If we can’t work it out together, we find this very annoying.
